We have been working on this new project for a while now. There will be no new iBibleApp but all the existing apps will be available for the normal web browsers. It's almost there. We are planning to release iBibleApps for Web on 10th of November.

It's been almost 2 months since we released the first version of WhichVerses?. And finally WhichVerses? 2.0 is here today. Some cool new features are added in 2.0. Login feature was added, so by logging in with your Google Account, you will be able to view your overall score. And we also added the time record feature. We pray that WhichVerses?2.0 will be a very helpful for your Bible Study.

As you noticed from the title of this post. We are going to release WhichVerses? 2.0 on October 10th. And yes, we said "tomorrow" few days ago, but we had to postpone the release date by serveral things. On October 10th, the cool cool new version will arrive! We promise.

Last Saturday, I blogged that it's only one more day till we release our new web app. And it was really true, we released our new app last Saturday, but it's just that we didn't post anything on this blog.

"WhichVerses? is a web app for iPhone and iPod touch that lets you do Bible quizzes. Not like other bible quizzes, it isn't the collection of random questions about the Bible. 5 Quizzes will appear with random verses from the chapter. And each of them will have 4 answer choices, so you choose the one that you think correct. So you guess the chapter number by reading the specific passage from the Bible. There are three types of quizzes in WhichVerses?, "Which Book?", "Which Chapter?" and "Which Psalm". This app was made to help you test your Bible knowledge or to memorize Bible passages. We pray that WhichVerses? will be a helpful tool for your Bible Study.

iBibleApps is a project which is started by a Christian development team DuoPlus! to help people study the Bible. All of the apps can be used on both normal web browser and iPhone. We pray and believe that iBibleApps will be a wonderful tool for your Bible study."

Guess what? It's been one month since we released our first iBibleApp. And tomorrow we are announcing the new web app from iBibleApps!!! I'm going to blog about it when it's out.

iPhone Web Doodle Board

Doodle Board was designed for paper prototyping. All the web apps that we made was first paper prototyped on the doodle board papers:) So we think that looking at our iPhone web apps is the best way to know how important it is to use this paper when you design web apps. If you have an idea for web apps in your mind, print the doodle board and start paper prototyping. Any small ideas are ok. It's the very first step of making a great web apps. Print it out on A4 paper(with borderless print setting) and cut in half. We hope that this doodle board will help you make wonderful iPhone apps!

Designing Websites for iPhone

Designing an iPhone compatible website is very interesting and a lot fun. But at the same time it's pretty difficult. Because if you just ignore all the "iPhone Website Design Rules", the website will become a really ugly one. But that means if you follow the rules, you can design a really beautiful website for iPhone web browser. I think the most important thing when you design websites for iPhone, is to keep things as simple as possible. Using Dashcode or iui might help you do that.

But you know one of the best thing when I'm designing iPhone compatible websites is that I don't have to care about IE. It's just so awesome that I can just forget about IE when I'm designing websites. Cuz IE CSS problems is really big. I mean too big to handle.

So it's been few weeks after the big iPhone 3G day. When I started this blog I was in real hurry, cuz it was almost 23:00 at night and I really had to go to and line-up in the iPhone 3G line. So I had no time changing templates and stuff for this blog. But now it's all redesigned and I think it turned out great!

Yaaaaay!!! Our very first iPhone web app Strong's Search is released! Strong's Search is a Bible search web app that is specialized for searching Strong's Concordance Number in the Bible.

You can search keyword or Strong’s Concordance number in the Bible. For example, if you want to look for the passages that include the word “thanks”, simply type in the word in the search form and push the search button. And you can do the same with the Strong’s numbers.
